Lifestyle and Hygge.
Having a good lifestyle means to me...
Spending quality time travelling, doing what I love to, studying and discovering new things, for examples new recipes, ways of gardening on the balcony, new passions, or a sport as yoga that combines both exercise and meditation.
Dedicate time to yourself, to what you love and live fulfilled. It's not easy.
Having time to appreciate the small beautiful things and embrace a healthy lifestyle is not something you can do everyday, unless you fight to allot your time throughout each day.
A good recipe to take care of yourself can be:
Sometimes take care of your mind and sometimes of your body, find a balance between these activities:
Hygge, it was something I have always looked for and by reading a book I just realised how true is that finding your balanced lifestyle leads to your own well being.

Hygge, it was something I have always looked for and by reading a book I just realised how true is that finding your balanced lifestyle leads to your own well being.
For my thirtieth birthday I travelled to Denmark and I discovered Hygge, then I went on trying to be happy and doing what made me feel good, no matter the effort or the society point of view.
Hygge (pronounced hue-gah) is a Danish word that is a feeling or mood that comes taking genuine pleasure in making ordinary, every day things more meaningful, beautiful or special. Whether it’s making coffee a verb by creating a ritual of making it then lingering over a cup to a cosy evening in with friends to the simple act of lighting a candle with every meal. Hygge is being aware of a good moment whether it’s simple or special.
Christmas it seems to be the most hygge period of the year.
For Christmas 2016 I received this precious book as a present, this is the book I am talking about, that is just the starting point.
“The little book of Hygge, the Danish way to live well”, Meik Wiking.

I share through my pictures, stories and posts a pure lifestyle, based on the simply pleasure of well being and the authenticity of living, because it is hygge and because it is peaceful.
Make yourself at home and take inspiration, if you'd like to.
